The Mumlava waterfall

It can be reached from the Harrachov bus station by following the blue trail past the Šindelka forestry exposition. There is an asphalt road leading to it, which you can follow on foot or by bicycle, only motor vehicles are not allowed. Another option is to walk past the mining museum, where the ore mines used to be. Not far from the waterfalls is the Mumlavská bouda and the U Lišáka kiosk. They are approximately 2 kilometres from the hotel.

Glassworks, brewery, beer spa

Visit the traditional producer of luxury drinking glass and chandeliers and the oldest glassworks in Bohemia! During the tour, you will have the opportunity to watch glassmakers and cutters at close range and see the complete process of glass processing using traditional metallurgical technologies. The glass museum is part of the glassworks. It contains a historically and technologically complete collection of historical glass from the production of the Harrachov glassworks.

The brewery with a restaurant was built in 2002 directly on the glassworks premises and is adjacent to the main glassworks hall. There is a beer spa adjacent to the brewery. It is a therapy in a peaceful and picturesque setting, which you can experience either completely alone in a single bath or as a couple in a double bath.

Bobsleigh track and monkey park

The bobsleigh track is approx. 1000 metres long, has 17 turns and two attractive overhead crossings. The lift and the track are illuminated for evening rides. The stainless steel trough of the track and the lift is the first in the Czech Republic to be heated throughout its entire length. This has significantly improved the quality of operation after rain or in winter when snow falls and the track dries out or thaws very quickly. You can also have a good time in the rope centre, named Monkey park, which is part of the complex.

Mining museum and sightseeing tunnel

In the museum there are samples of minerals, tools and equipment used in mining, maps and photographs documenting the work in the mine. A minimum of four people are required per tour, with a maximum of twenty-five people. Large groups should book in advance.

Children's park in the centre of Harrachov

It is located at the lower station of the cable car. The park consists of a large wooden castle, a giant air trampoline and other attractions. Admission is free with a ticket to Devil's Mountain, otherwise tickets can be purchased at the cable car ticket office and admission is not time-limited.

Šindelka exposition

The forestry exposition on the ground floor introduces visitors to the whole forestry issue, from the harvesting of the forest stand through the approach of logs to roads and their transport for further processing to the subsequent forest restoration and care. The hunting exhibition on the first floor focuses on hunting from history to the present.
